Wereledmuseum Amsterdam's exhibition on Dutch colonial history lacks sufficient representation of indigenous perspectives. To address this, we consulted with individuals of colonial descent and developed an interactive AI installation that allows visitors to reimagine the artworks, aiming for a more balanced narrative.
The installation features eight sliders, each adjusting different aspects of an artwork. While AI has the potential to reinforce biases, this project critically examines its role in depicting complex historical narratives.
